Shoreline Restoration Effort

BEACH CLEAN UP DRIVE

We are dedicated to preserving our coastlines through impactful beach clean-up drives. In 2024, in collaboration with Project Mumbai, we carried out extensive clean-up efforts at Erangal Beach and Juhu Beach, successfully collecting 4,852 kg of plastic waste. By preventing this waste from polluting our oceans, we take a step towards a cleaner, healthier marine ecosystem, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.

Plastic Recyclothon

Plastic & E-Waste Recycling Drive

In partnership with Project Mumbai, the Sajjan Jain Trust is spreading awareness about the environmental impact of improper plastic and e-waste disposal. Through a month-long collection drive, we gathered 92 kg of plastic and 10 kg of e-waste, preventing them from polluting landfills and oceans. This initiative not only provided a dedicated collection space at the workplace but also encouraged individuals to adopt responsible disposal habits. The recycled materials have been repurposed into useful products like pens, planting pots, and benches, which were donated to BMC schools and gardens—furthering our commitment to a cleaner, greener future.

103 Trees Planted in 2024

Greener Horizons, Stronger Communities

In Aarey Colony, we joined hands with the Waghoba Habitat Foundation to plant trees that not only enhance the environment but also support the livelihoods of tribal communities. This initiative fostered a deeper bond between people and nature, promoting ecological balance and sustainability.

Bringing this vision to an urban setting, the Sajjan Jain Trust spearheaded a plantation drive at the Arkade Bhoomi Project, integrating greenery within a residential community. With native trees taking root, residents pledged to nurture and protect them, ensuring a lasting environmental impact and a greener future
